Kids Shuttle NZ began with a very ordinary family problem: sometimes your child needs to be somewhere at exactly the same time life needs you somewhere else.
The answer was not simply another transport option. It was to build a service around the things parents actually care about: safety, familiarity, communication and trust.
Why Kids Shuttle NZ exists
I live on the Hibiscus Coast and I'm raising my own children here. I saw first-hand how limited the options can be when you need a school pickup or simply need to get your child somewhere when you cannot be there yourself.
School buses do not reach every family. After-school care can be expensive and is not always the right environment for every child. Family support is not always nearby, and generic rideshare services are not designed around children.
I did not set out to build a transport company. I set out to solve a very real problem for families like mine, safely, calmly and with care.
A different kind of school transport
Kids Shuttle NZ is a planned, safety-first school transport service built for children and the families who rely on it.
The service is intentionally personal and consistent. Rather than treating each trip as an anonymous point-to-point journey, the emphasis is on predictable routes, familiar drivers and clear handovers.
That matters because transporting a child is not just a logistics problem. It is a trust problem too.
