At Kids Shuttle, I don’t just drive kids home — I help families breathe easier, knowing their children are safe and cared for.
Seats are limited, and I want to make sure every child has a safe, reliable spot. Once you submit this form, I’ll be in touch to confirm if your booking is secured and locked in for the days you need. If your preferred day is already full, I’ll add you to the waiting list and let you know as soon as a space opens up.

By accessing or using the Kids Shuttle NZ website (www.kidsshuttle.nz) or any services offered by Kids Shuttle NZ (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
Kids Shuttle NZ provides safe, reliable transport services for children starting from Year 1 (typically 5 years old) and up, registered by their parent or legal guardian.
All drivers are vetted, hold a Passenger Endorsement (P) licence, are police-checked, and first aid certified, operating under a Transport Service Licence: nzta.govt.nz.
All vehicles have a current Warrant of Fitness, commercial insurance, and age‑appropriate child restraints that comply with NZ safety standards, ami.co.nz
Pick-up and drop-off points are agreed with each participating school or directly with parents/guardians. Parents are responsible for ensuring their child knows the correct collection point.
Kids Shuttle currently operates in the Hibiscus Coast, with plans to expand to other areas in the future.
Parents/guardians must:
Complete a booking or waitlist form via our website (powered by HubSpot forms) and provide accurate contact details, child details, and at least two emergency contacts.
Provide relevant safety information (e.g. medical needs, allergies, pickup instructions).
Agree to the Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Parent Indemnity Form before using the service.
Authorise who may collect their child at drop‑off and provide a secure handover method (e.g. PIN/QR code).
Standard fare: $25 per ride (up to 5km).
Additional distance: NZ$1.80 per kilometre beyond the 5 km base. I quote the fare based on the address provided at the time of enquiry

Payment method: All bookings must be paid in advance via a secure third‑party processor (Stripe/PayPal). Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.
Sibling discount: When siblings ride together on the same trip, the second child receives NZ$5 off that ride.
Weekly seat subscription: Parents choose specific days (e.g. Mon/Wed/Fri) and pay the fare for those days each week in advance. The seat is held for your child for those days whether used or not.
Late payments may result in suspension of services.
$10 penalty if the driver must return after completing other drop-offs.
$10 penalty for a no-show after 10 minutes waiting at the designated pickup.
All payments are non-refundable once made.
No credits or refunds will be issued for missed rides due to illness, school closures, or personal schedule changes.

Kids Shuttle NZ is committed to providing a safe, reliable and caring transport service for children starting from Year 1 (aged 5 years and up). These policies outline the safety standards, operational guidelines and parent responsibilities in line with New Zealand law and NZTA requirements.
All children must wear a safety belt at all times.
Child restraints: In accordance with NZ law, all children under seven years of age must travel in an approved child restraintami.co.nz. Kids Shuttle NZ vehicles are fitted with NZTA‑approved car seats and boosters; parents/guardians should advise of any specific seating requirements when booking.
Parents/guardians must provide two emergency contacts per child and, where appropriate, the child’s phone number.
Children must follow driver instructions to ensure their own safety and the safety of others in the vehicle.
Children who are unwell (e.g., fever, vomiting, or contagious illness) will not be transported for the safety of other passengers.
If a child becomes unwell during a ride, the driver will contact the parent/guardian immediately.
Parents must notify Kids Shuttle NZ promptly if a child is absent from school, leaves early, or is unwell.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child knows the designated pickup point at school.
Drivers will wait up to 10 minutes at pickup. After this time, the ride will be marked as a no-show, and a $10 penalty fee will apply.
At drop-off, a child must be collected by an authorised parent/guardian. Verification is done via a unique PIN/QR code or named authorised contact.
If no authorised person is available, the driver will attempt to contact the parent/guardian. If unreachable, the child will be safely transported to the next drop-off and returned later, incurring a $10 penalty fee.
All drivers are parent drivers, not generic rideshare contractors.
Drivers must hold a Passenger Endorsement (P) licence, pass NZ Police vetting, and maintain current First Aid certification.
Vehicles must have valid registration, a current Warrant of Fitness (WOF) (or Certificate of Fitness where required), and comprehensive passenger transport insurance.
Kids Shuttle NZ enforces a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol, drugs, and unsafe driving practices.
Cancellations must be made at least 8 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full fare.
If you wish to permanently stop using the service, two weeks’ notice is required. Where less notice is given, a $20 cancellation fee and one additional week’s payment may apply.
Children will usually be assigned a consistent parent driver for familiarity, but Kids Shuttle NZ may assign another vetted driver where necessary.
Routes and driver allocations may change due to operational or safety requirements. All drivers meet the same compliance and safety standards.
Parents/guardians can contact Kids Shuttle NZ directly via phone or email for urgent matters.
Until the app is launched, booking confirmations, driver details, and pickup/drop-off notifications will be provided via email, SMS, or WhatsApp updates.
Parents will receive confirmation when their child has been safely collected and dropped off.
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website with the revised date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Kids Shuttle NZ is a safe, reliable transport service for school-aged children (Year 1 and up). I personally drive during the initial phase — I’m NZTA P-endorsed, first-aid trained, and use a fully insured, COF-compliant vehicle fitted with the correct child restraints.
Right now, I operate within Hibiscus Coast and nearby suburbs within roughly 5 km — including Orewa, Red Beach, Millwater, Milldale and Silverdale.
If you’re a little further out, I’ll simply calculate the additional distance and confirm if I can include your address in my route.
If you’re outside these areas, you can still register your interest so I can prioritise your suburb as we expand.
Parents book set school days each week (e.g. Mon / Wed / Fri).
Your child’s seat is held for those days with a weekly subscription — whether used or not — ensuring consistency and reliability for you and your child.
$25 per ride for distances up to 5 km from pickup point
$1.80 per km thereafter (quoted individually when you enquire)
Sibling discount: $5 off per ride when travelling together
Weekly fee = (per-ride cost × booked days per week)
You’ll receive a weekly invoice based on your confirmed days and distance.
Payment is made securely online (bank transfer or card link).
Once payment is received, your child’s seat for that week is confirmed.
Safety comes first:
NZTA Passenger (P) Endorsement
Full police vetting and First Aid certification
Commercial vehicle insurance + current COF
NZTA-approved child restraints and boosters
Secure handover (PIN / QR verification at pickup and drop-off)
GPS tracking and journey logs
You’ll receive confirmation when your child is collected and again when safely dropped off.
es — before any ride, I’ll send you links to sign:
Parent Indemnity & Consent Form
Terms & Conditions + Privacy Policy
These confirm we both understand the safety expectations and communication process.
Please let me know as soon as possible.
Because seats are held specifically for your child, rides are non-refundable once booked, but you can adjust your set days for future weeks if your schedule changes.
If no authorised adult is available:
I’ll contact you straight away.
If unreachable, your child will stay safely with me until I complete other drop-offs and return.
A $10 return-attempt fee applies, as noted in our policy.
To keep things consistent for each child, bookings are made as set weekly days.
If a seat becomes available on another day, I’m happy to discuss adding an extra ride.
n any emergency I will:
Pull over safely and call 111 if needed.
Notify you immediately.
File an incident report within 24 hours for full transparency.
Yes. My vehicle carries commercial passenger insurance, and I operate under a current NZTA Transport Service Licence (TSL).
