Local, safe and reliable transport on the Hibiscus Coast
I aim to keep things simple and personal — here’s how easy it is to book your ride:
Get in touch by phone or through the enquiry form to check if there’s a seat available on MyBus for your child’s school zone and the days you need. Seats are limited and run on a weekly subscription basis to hold your child’s spot. If you’re outside my current route, I’ll connect you with one of our vetted parent drivers who serves your area.
If you’d like, we can arrange a quick meet-and-greet so you and your child can get comfortable before the first ride. We’ll confirm the correct car seat or booster (for ages 5–7), and you’ll complete the required forms — Terms & Conditions, Parent Indemnity, and emergency contact details — so we have everything on file. Once confirmed, you’ll receive your driver’s contact details for easy communication.
Your first week acts as a short trial to make sure the routine works well for everyone. From there, your child’s seat is secured for those set days each week. Your driver (whether it’s me, Chazelle, or another trusted mum/parent driver) will message you when your child is picked up, safely dropped off, and handed over to the authorised adult at the destination.
Getting your kids to and from school or after-school activities shouldn’t feel like a daily juggling act.
At Kids Shuttle, safety comes first. I’m Chazelle — a local mom who knows exactly how stressful it can be to coordinate pickups and drop-offs when life gets busy. That’s why I started this service: to give parents peace of mind and kids a safe, familiar ride every time.
I don’t just pull up to the curb and drive off. I make sure they’re handed over to the right person and only leave when I know they’re safe – exactly how you would do it yourself.
.
Safety isn’t an add-on — it’s the whole reason I started Kids Shuttle. As a mum, I know how important it is to feel 100% confident about who’s driving your kids.
I hold a TSL and Passenger Endorsement licence, Child First Aid training, and a clear police record.
My car has NZTA standard child seats, commercial insurance, and is WOF compliant.
I only leave when I know your child is safely collected or dropped to the right person.
Real Families | Real Feedback
This started because I saw other parents in our community struggling the same way I was — rushing from work, stuck in traffic, or worrying about making it to the school gates on time.
For now, it’s just me offering rides. One mum, helping other mums and dads in our neighbourhood. As the need grows, I’ll look at bringing in other trusted parents — but for now, your child gets my full attention, every ride.
As Kids Shuttle NZ grows, I’ll be welcoming more vetted local parents as drivers — creating safe, flexible jobs for our community and helping more families get where they need to go.

Kids Shuttle NZ is committed to providing a safe, reliable and caring transport service for children starting from Year 1 (aged 5 years and up). These policies outline the safety standards, operational guidelines and parent responsibilities in line with New Zealand law and NZTA requirements.
All children must wear a safety belt at all times.
Child restraints: In accordance with NZ law, all children under seven years of age must travel in an approved child restraintami.co.nz. Kids Shuttle NZ vehicles are fitted with NZTA‑approved car seats and boosters; parents/guardians should advise of any specific seating requirements when booking.
Parents/guardians must provide two emergency contacts per child and, where appropriate, the child’s phone number.
Children must follow driver instructions to ensure their own safety and the safety of others in the vehicle.
Children who are unwell (e.g., fever, vomiting, or contagious illness) will not be transported for the safety of other passengers.
If a child becomes unwell during a ride, the driver will contact the parent/guardian immediately.
Parents must notify Kids Shuttle NZ promptly if a child is absent from school, leaves early, or is unwell.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child knows the designated pickup point at school.
Drivers will wait up to 10 minutes at pickup. After this time, the ride will be marked as a no-show, and a $10 penalty fee will apply.
At drop-off, a child must be collected by an authorised parent/guardian. Verification is done via a unique PIN/QR code or named authorised contact.
If no authorised person is available, the driver will attempt to contact the parent/guardian. If unreachable, the child will be safely transported to the next drop-off and returned later, incurring a $10 penalty fee.
All drivers are parent drivers, not generic rideshare contractors.
Drivers must hold a Passenger Endorsement (P) licence, pass NZ Police vetting, and maintain current First Aid certification.
Vehicles must have valid registration, a current Warrant of Fitness (WOF) (or Certificate of Fitness where required), and comprehensive passenger transport insurance.
Kids Shuttle NZ enforces a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol, drugs, and unsafe driving practices.
